how to Insert metadata (isbn) as page

hy,
why can i insert the isbn within the converting module of calibre?
in first of the module called metadata there is an overview of most metadata, but without the isbn.
how will it be inserted to this page?

it would be nice that the isbn is show through the rest of the metadata on first page in the ebooks after converting to epub.

thanx for help

If noone posted, normally noone has any helpful ideas. Bumping the thread up won't change that.

ISBN will be included in the OPF file if present in the metadata and shows up when I select About/Info on my reader or Calibre viewer

He is right, though, they aren't included in the metadata page inserted during conversion.

Yeah, they aren't included in the jacket page. I don't see the point. What does gazing on an ISBN get you? The ISBN is put into the metadata, where it belongs.

"Real" books don't have metadata. They only have data.

It IS there, just on the special Metadata (Info) page, not inline.
Calibre Book viewer has an icon (print on page) that shows it. My PEz shows it when I press 7 while reading the book.
BTW you don't have to be in any particular place to see it, and you don't lose you place after viewing.

Manichean has it
