Koreader AppImage
Thank you for this very interesting development. A month ago you added muPDF for ePubs, today AppImage. I think it will be quite helpful to make Koreader better known, at least among Linux users...
Trying it, I have two user questions. 1. Trying to enable "advanced settings" crashes immediately AppImage. I intended to change to appearance of the mini-bar. 2. The fonts that can be used include only the ones brought by Koreader (not counting embedded ones). I see no way to add some side-loaded font. Is there a way to pinpoint a default folder on the computer containing fonts and to add it (about the same way we can pinpoint a default folder on the computer to be used as a Home folder for books)? 1. Ah yes, a path issue. Hopefully not too hard to get around.
2. I made it also try to load fonts from $HOME/.fonts (a standard location) but I haven't really tested it. |
