No video sound through headphones

Very frustrated. Videos have been loaded on SD card and Vox will read and play the files. No problems over the onboard speaker, nice and loud. As soon as the headphones are plugged in you can't hear a thing. And yes, the headphones work, made sure to check that first...

Any others with the same problem or know how to fix this??? This was a major reason to up-grade from the Touch.

you mention that headphones work, but you don't mention if you had tested in other areas on the vox, or with another device. ie - head phones don't work with video's, but you can hear everything else (including the beeps when you move the volume up and down).

If you can't hear anything on the vox, then it's possible your headphone jack is faulty; return it. If it works with everything but the video, that is an oddity...but actually, did you stop any services the app manager before running the video?

My headphones do work just fine with the Vox for videos and other sounds. So, subject to Psyke's troubleshooting you may have a faulty head phone jack.
