I still think Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep is the best title ever. It gives an extremely good synopsis of the book in 6 short words.

The Jacky Faber books by L. A. Meyer deserve a mention. If you haven't discovered these you are missing a bit of fun. Many libraries have the e-editions.

#2 Curse of the Blue Tattoo, Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber, Midshipman and Fine Lady.

#4 In the Belly of the Bloodhound, Being an Account of a Pecuilar Adventure of Jacky Faber.
#5 Mississippi Jack, Being an Account of Midshipman, Fine Lady, and Lily of the West.
#6 My Bonny Light Horseman, Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber in Love and War.
#7 Rapture of the Deep, Being an Account of the Further Adventures of Jacky Faber, Soldier, Sailor, Mermaid, Spy.
