Development Taking Patch/Modification Requests.

I am taking patch requests here if you have reasonable ones.

I will be releasing when I am happy with the finished product.

Ones that use enTourage proprietary code will come in patch for, as to not violate enTourage copyrights (unless I am given permission).

If you know how to recover your device from a bad modification (? Golden update may do this ?), and are willing to help test please contact me.

using the lcd touch screen as keyboard only like a laptop with better keyboard 7 (voice control) while full android on b and w for browsing and typing.

Are there more e-ink optimizations that can be done? Faster refresh rate on the e-ink side? Viewing the web browser on the e-ink side?

I think the list so far has everytthing I want though. =)

synced using the eink side as a keyboard has the unfortunate limitation of only being tappable by the wacom stylus.

i was suggesting the other way around, although swype running on the eink side would be very fast, isn't it?

I really would love to have android 2.2 - full flash support with Robots patch to utilize the eink side for android. This will save power, and it would allow for really using the edge outside in the sun.

Just creating a tool to remove the throttler on the processor. It is running at 800Mhz, but should be good at nearly twice that at 1.5Ghz. That would make a huge difference, and if you used it you would just need to be aware the battery may run down a lot fast.

Mick,

I suggest doing it in the kernel, and not through a module, and I would start with small bumps. 700mhz jump, and the device will likely not boot.

mickdarling, all my attempts too change CPU speed finished with hanging up. Now we have source code, so I'll try again.
Also on another hand, for EE it's far more important to underclock CPU, it'll allow to much longer battery life (p.s. power management in EE is completly failure).
As for overclocking, as far as I remember CPU spec said that maximum speed is about 1100mhz. Currently it work on 788mhz. Not a big deal (unless for gaming or HDvideo).

1100 should be fine, really a properly configured android device should FLY at 800.

Robot, is there by chance a pref lock at all? I doubt it, the kernel shouldnt be too far off stock.
