Hi all, what are the possibilities of running a credit repair business and how is the business run. What are the legalities and formalities involved in that so that one can make the arrangements to start his own credit repair business?

You will note the number of hits, and the number of the times the exact same phrasing as the post's content, appears in other forums.

I do not know whether this is malformed spam, not providing links, or if this merely a forum-spam "dummy" to do with conditioning anti-spam engines (or if there is such a thing as either), but it is very reasonable to assume that Alden8 does not exist as a real person.

Harry is, perhaps, being facetious, in light of this, which is sometimes a position a moderator/administrator needs to take in the face of spam to ward off despair.

If you buy too many Sony Readers, kacir, and can't pay your credit card bills as a result, your credit rating will be "damaged" and you'll find it difficult to borrow money in the future.

A credit repair business is a business which tries to make such peoples' credit rating "good" again.

Better, of course, not to buy Sony Readers for all your family and friends until you have the money to pay for them!

I think you should consider nuking this thread.

I have noticed, that mobileread site is very highly ranked in google. Very often when I look for some information about e-books, e-paper and so on, this discussion is among the first results, very often ranked before actual product homepage.

From what I gathered from discussion, this thread is to set the stage for some scavengers to try to make a quick buck from the current financial crisis.


Or, as an alternative we should continue discussion and use as many unflattering descriptions as possible, such as

My apologies, I did not see that this thread was already closed. But I thought it may be of interest to some how people try to spam Mobileread. So I will keep this post for reference purposes.

It's probably something inbetween. There are various tools out there that allow auto-registration on popular forums, while circumventing the captcha, and subsequently auto-posting random spam and scam. We do have a online check for new users, but sometimes spam gets through, and then we have to deal with it manually.

Forums make it way different. These are places people come to read voluntarily. Any posted message will be read at least by one moderator. But a well-composed message with correctly placed links in its body will initiate a live discussion over it, leading to clicks and high rankings in Search Engines. It's not just efficient – it's smart to a degree where most people would not believe software to be capable of.

By the way, the explanation for this particular one, should anyone be interested, is that, had the thread not been closed, a new account would have been created, and using that account someone would have "helpfully" posted their recommendation for a package for (amazingly enough) creating a business just as the original "poster" was asking for. ie, it's a "two part" spam.
