Heinlein's "Starman Jones" coming to Baen
While looking at Baen's Webscriptions page, I was delighted to see that "Starman Jones" is being released in the October bundle. One of my very favourite Heinleins!

Awesome! I love Baen...and Heinlein. Thanks for the heads-up. I've been slowly buying the back-bundles and don't always think to check what's out in the newer ones.

What about "Starship Troopers"? Is that available as an eBook?

To answer my own question, I see it's in the Kindle store, so it evidently is. Have to add that one to my "must buy" list! I also see that "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" is listed as "Available to Pre-Order".

I see that "Space Cadet" isn't on your missing list, Ralph. Who sells that?

Correction: I don't believe Waldo and Magic Inc. have been release as an ebook.

The early Heinleins are among my favourite SF books, especially the "Juveniles". I didn't like his later stuff, though. It got a bit weird.

I'm the opposite. While I like them all... I much prefer the later stuff.

I devoured every one in both my local public library, and the school library in my early teens. And I've been a life-long SciFi reader ever since. Last edited by CRussel; 06-25-2011 at 08:46 AM. |
