Good sources of iPad info?
I just ordered an iPad, but haven't used Apple products since my good 'ole Mac Plus! And when I do Google searches, information often seems to be a mix of iPhone and even iPod info.
So what are some of the best web sites/blogs/forums for someone that just wants to follow iPad info about usage, news, accessories, applications, iPad software development, etc? Thanks! |

Bob, I usually just read Techmeme (www.techmeme.com), Twitter (#iPad), etc.
Alltop has a collection of iPad RSS feeds: http://ipad.alltop.com/ |

http://www.appsforipad.net/ I visit the appsforipad one daily. They usually have a mini review of 1 or 2 apps. |

Appshopper is a great way to keep aware of sales and freebies. I hate when I miss when an app goes on sale or has a free weekend.

If you want to keep up with the plethora of bags and cases coming out for the iPad:
http://ipadbags.com/ is a nice site. Not much in the way of reviews, but it is good for keeping up with new accessories. Ellen |

Most iPad forums I've found are rife with vendors pushing one audio or video convertor or another. It's disappointing and frustrating and proves just how unique a forum MobileRead is. I've yet to find a "community" of like-minded iPad users that isn't full of someone trying to sell me the lastest, greatest iPad conversion app. Sigh.

Just to name a few:
http://www.ipad88.com/ http://modmyi.com/forums/ http://www.everythingicafe.com/forum/ipad/ http://forum.tipb.com/ipad-forum/192...er-ibooks.html P.S. Drill down into any of these sites (and there are many more) and you'll find post after post (ad inifintum) with pitches like I've described. |
