Paperwhite horizontal view

How I wish Paperwhite would introduce two column reading while holding the device in horizontal orientatation. So in essence, it would look like opened book in your hands.

The app does support this. So if you use an android based reader (e.g. Boox Page) then you can use this feature.

It would need maybe a 10″ or larger screen. Even a 10.3″ screen only just does a regular mass market paperback. The only Kindle suitable is the Scribe (and the lower resolution Kobo Elipsa is less bother).
I can't do it on 8″ screen, but the 10.3″ Elipsa just about works. However I prefer the 7 or 8 inch screens (weight and pockets!).

Well, my eyes could handle it just fine and it could also work with bigger font as well as it wouldn't have to contain the same amount of text as paperbacks.
