Not for me, Fenzie. Installed KSM and Koreader for the first time every on a 1st Gen H20 running 4.6.9995, including the patch, and it still happens.

I haven't noticed any pattern to when it does. Sometimes it happens when it exiting Nickle, sometimes not. Sometimes when clicking a menu item within KSM, sometimes not.

The only thing that's reliable is that if I reboot KSM from within KSM using the "Reboot" menu item, it's fixed. Kinda hard to hit the button, though, since, while the display is flipped, the touch controls aren't, so I have to guess where to tap to reboot.

I want to switch over to using KOReader for reading epubs and all other file types. the only real reason i'm still using nickel is the ability to change the weights of my side loaded fonts easily via the patches..

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this with KOReader? like via config tweaks?

Thanks,
John Feole

There is a "Font Weight" setting under the B tab of the bottom reader menu. It only has "regular" or "bold" options. You can, of course use any fonts that have their own weighting, like I some times use the Semi-Bold version of my regular Stone Serif font. The "Contrast" settings are "lighter default darker" and the numerical value for each is displayed, as you make the selection. There is a script that contains those gamma values, where you can change them to what you may want available to select.

Luck;
Ken

Can anyone tell me why KOReader font size seems to stoop at size 44 or so, and you can't increase them any larger, even though the UI indicates the size is larger?

Bug??

It's a kind of bug, yes. See https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/2686

Does the last notes in the referenced bug indicate that a fix has been
added to code, or it is still pending?

Thanks..

Hi everybody,

Could you please let me know where Koreader saves its dictionary history?

If it's to remove it, you can do that through the dictionary settings menu.

Otherwise, settings and such are predictably in koreader/settings.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I need to export the file into a .txt file and use it on my computer, but couldn't find where Koreader saves them though it's accessible through the reader itself.

Installed KSM and KOReader on Aura One LE. Pressing the koreader button image does not start KOReader but the KSM. I need to press the menu entry inside KSM to start KOReader. Is this e expected behavior?

I run KOReader with KSM on Kobo A1 LE. I am modifying the frontend/apps/filemanager/filemanager.lua file to add an extra button in the long-press-context-menu for files or folders in file manager.

If I add the button as the first one-line button, the whole thing crashes. If I add the button at the end, after the set-as-home-directory button, all is OK.

This does not happen in KOReader for Kindle. Here is the relevant crash.log. Any help is appreciated.

For your first post above; you need to start Nickel using KSM's NickelKoreaderSwitch option, for the Icon to work.

For the last; you should ask at the project on Github

Luck;
