Good point. I have a Microsoft Surface Go and it only has USB-C.

Indeed. Buying books from the Kindle/Kobo Store and THEN sideloading them? try explaining that to "regular" ereader users

I had a look at one of the local stores and checked the specs of the first ten or so Windows based laptops they listed. All of them had USB-A ports. And less than half had USB-C. This was across multiple brands including Dell, HP, ACER, ASUS and LG. I didn't look at the Apples, Chromebooks or the Microsoft Surface.

The Elipsa came with a USB-C to USB-A cable, there's no reason for the Sage / Libra 2 to be any different.

Two of my older laptops do have USB-A ports alongside USB-C, but they're not my daily drivers anymore. And yes, of course one could say why buy a USB-C only laptop when you have several ereaders you want to connect to it. The thing is, at the time I bought that laptop (Dell XPS) it was the only one with the 16:10 screen ratio, which is what I need. 16:9 is fit only for videos and movies, while 3:2 is a bit too narrow. |

Well, I have a Libra H2O and I very much like it. I'm looking at the new Kobo and Kindle. For the first time in a very long time, I don't see why I would buy a new one. My Libra has all the features I need, except maybe USB-C. I don't see myself buying a heavier ereader.

I agree about hating the origami covers, and wish they'd just switch to a cover without "flop" factor. As is, I do not fold mine EVER, in order to keep them as rigid as I can. But other than the origami biz, I've been pleased with them. Like you, I have plenty of separate stands which work much better. I've tried cheap alternate covers, they always have something that makes them a "no go" and waste of money. The Kobo cases feel good in my hands. And seem to hold up well.
