Update: I found another thread where a user had the same problem and deleting InvertScreen=true in the eraeder.conf fixed the issue. I have no idea why installing kobo uncaged had this side effect though.

It should be possible, but I haven't worked on this program for quite a while, so I'm not sure.

No, it is not possible. It does not detect the ereader. It doesn't recognize it

I don't know how much work it is, but if my Kobo Clara 2e would have a functional Kobo UNCaGED connection, that would be really great. It's a fantastic program.

Sorry for resume this old issue, but suddenly I got this problem, and I find a solution. I don't think it depends on KUncaged, because it appears a couple of mounths ago, maybe after some calibre update.
It needs to connect ereader via KUncaged, right click on device icon, device settings, uncheck "replace books with same calibre id" or something similar, disconnect device and resync. All tags are correct now.
