EVDO spots
Greetings!Nushell: LOVE iT! but....Sprint coverage is spotty at best here in podunt-adjent SC. The local authorities frown on water tower climbing...

Can you download your files online rather than use the Whispernet?
All of the booster antennas I've seen require an antenna port on the device, how would you connect the antenna to the Kindle? |

There are cell phone repeaters, but they are expensive. See for example AlternativeWireless

You can also checkout http://3gstore.com/ for other signal booster options/ideas. But like wallcraft pointed out the options are very spendy.
