rbruce1314...True enough what you say and that's why "Remove divs..." is a user option in this cleaner. So you better know your doc's html code before you use it...

as an idle question, I'm wondering if it can be determined what the source of the OP's original epub was. Is there a notation in the metadata inside content.opf? something similar to:
