Printing the library cover grid layout

Is there a way to print that in a long PDF?

Any similar view, with a sort from the most recent on top, would be great !!!

Sort is what it was in the Table view
OR
Right click in the Grid Sort by: <pick>

As for printing The visible area, I use the Windows snipping tool to save (as aJPG), the selected area,
then use your favorite picture viewer to print that. (you can also email the saved snip image)

Only thing I do not understand is that my cover grid is many many pages long so my screen capture (Ctrl-4 or Ctrl-3 on my Mac) would only get one page while I would like to have ALL of them just like scrolling through them.

The grid only appears continuous. The thumbnail cache is not infinite. It may flush ones that have not been shown for a while or scrolled off first. The current screens thumbs may be generated on demand.

What are you trying to accomplish (the reason)?
