Clara HD sync multiple libraries using Overdrive

hi guys,

I've been struggling with sync multiple library accounts using Overdrive on Kobo for days and by chance stumbled on the solution. Details below.

Since I've setup multiple libraries on my kobo but recently discovered that my NYPL (New York Public Library) loans don't show up in my Kobo. I remember in the past I had to sign out Overdrive account and sign in with library account a couple times, then sign in with Overdrive to be able to see books across different libraries show up on kobo. but this method doesn't seem to work this time.

So I signed in to my overdrive account with internet browser on computer and discovered that my NYPL library account is not signed in on Overdrive page. So i signed in library account on the overdrive page, surely later my kobo has synced the missing library's loans.

Not sure whether Overdrive changed the sign in behaviors on Kobo recently or it's been always like this, just thought to share if someone has similar issues with using Kobo to read books across multiple libraries.

Kobo and overdrive have never officially supported multiple libraries (there are work arounds which you hit on).

It’s more likely that OD and NYPL got out of sync, kobo looked to OD for your loans, and OD didn’t see NYPL anymore so didn’t report any
