Seeking feedback on Boox Assistant app, other article readers
I just learned of Boox Assistant https://boox.com/boox-assistant/ and hope to hear from folks who can compare it to Pocket (or similar apps) for sending articles from a web page on your computer to an ereader.
I've used Pocket on my Nova 2 and it's OK, but the page turn doesn't work properly (it advances slightly more than one page, making it more cumbersome than scrolling). Also, neither of the two included fonts are satisfactory. On my older Kobo, Pocket works seamlessly and has precise page turns like an epub. I would pay for an app that worked as well for saving/reading articles on Android. Thanks for any observations or suggestions on other apps. |
