Using two Kindles

I have two Kindle Fires. A Kindle Fire HD 7 and a Fire HD 8th gen. I just obtained the 8th gen. I’ve been using Claiber for some time with the 7. I would like to be able to use Caliber with both Kindles. How do I get Caliber to recognize the 8th gen? My apologies if this has been addressed. I’ve searched and haven’t been successful in finding a post that addresses this. Thank you for your help.

It is on the HELP: (FAQ)

Help is the best place to start. MR is for when that does not work or you need a solution for less general problems.

I followed all the steps under the devise not being recognized and was unsuccessful. I always go to the help section first. I should have mentioned that.
