Charging the PB302

My PB302 seems to be working just fine. But I may have a small problem with the charging unit.

I had the thing on charge yesterday for 12 hours or more. The green LED did not come on. I had the unit turned on at the time, and in 'Charging mode'. I used the thing to read a book for about an hour last night.

Today it has been on charge so far for 6 hours. This is with the unit turned off this time. Still no green LED.

EDIT : Finally - after almost 7 hours (today), the LED has gone out. So - 12 hours yesterday, plus 7 hours today. Seems a tad slow....

The meter on the PB302 says that it is fully charged, although I am tending not to believe that too much.

I am thinking that it should only take 5-6 hours TOPS to charge one of these things. So far it has been 18 hours, and no sign of the unit indicating that it is charged. Is this normal?

I have been using the supplied charger plugged into a 240VAC socket (with an Australian - US adapter). The red/orange LED is on, indicating that charging is taking place.

Apart from this, the PB302 seems ok - perhaps battery life might be a bit less than I expected, but charging is in fact occurring. Perhaps it is just the indication that is faulty? ie it is fully charged - just for some reason the LED is not changing to green.

Any ideas?

I had similar problem with my PB302. It got fully charged, but green LED never turned on during 12 hours.
Problem was that I used wrong charger (USB one from PB360, instead of native one with cylindrical jack).

That surprises me. A USB charger is a USB charger....should not make any difference if it is from a toaster oven or coffee cup warmer. As long as your USB hub can provide enough power it should make no difference.

I regularly use the USB charger that came with my Motorola bluetooth headset for almost everything.

I have used a USB charger on the PB302, and it says it is charging ok.

Dunno - it seems a weird system. Perhaps the charging system in the 302 is really only designed for the smaller battery in the 301, hence it takes a week of Sundays to charge the 302?
