Polymer Vision is declared Bankruptcy
Appearently Polymer Vision had declared bankruptcy on the sixth of this month.
http://www.slashgear.com/readius-pla...krupt-1549452/ I’m afraid it’s also mentioned in the European bankruptcy register, so I’m afraid it’s true. Which is a shame the technology really had some potential. I wasn’t exactly happy with the idea of a phone/e-reader, but a foldable e-reader would have been awesome. The phone concept always seemed a bad idea, it combines a device which needs a lot of energy, transmitter, etc. with a display that’s main advantage besides legibility is low energy use. And most other phones are moving to a more multimedia devices. But maybe somebody else will buy the technology and make a true ebook reader. |
