Did you ever read the story on time travel which ended with the timeline being switched to one in which time travel was never invented?

Could it be that if Dr. Who or The Doctor try to solve the Paradox it could result in a horrible result? Couldn't a small change result in massive changes? Didn't The Flash prevent his mother's death and it resulted in the destruction of the world?

You've never read any of the arguments between the proponents of the theory that timelines have inertia and it takes massive continuing effort to make changes and the proponents of the theory that timelines are fragile and if a single grain of sand is moved, the whole timeline will be changed. Do you not agree with Terry Pratchett that if a wizard enters a room with a big red button on wall and a sign saying that pushing this button would end the world, the first action taken would be to push the button just to see what happens? Aren't there are many opinions when it comes to time travel? Didn't DC Comics have rule at one time where there are three methods of time travel available to everyone but each can only be used once by an individual, an once he/she makes their third trip they are stuck at their final destination?

Isn't the general rule that for any topic under discussion by n people, the minimum number of opinions expressed is n+1?

In the manga Farewell, Mr. Despair (rough translation of the Japanese name) isn't there a character who is a literal split personality (one personality is a stereotypical Japanese student and the other is a stereotypical American student)? Later in the story didn't she have so many disagreements with herself that her personalities developed a United Nations structure in her mind to accommodate all of her various personalities and their opinions? N = Number of people MP = Number of people with split personalities. NO = Number of people with no opinions Last edited by Solitaire1; 02-06-2025 at 07:56 PM. Reason: Punctuation correction. |

Couldn't we discuss Merryman (looks like the stereotypical 98-pound weakling, has no superpowers, and knows he is completely ridiculous as a superhero [he only did it because his parents pushed him into it] so he wears a jester costume to show just how ridiculous he is as a superhero)?
