Battery has been ordered for 29$. Without shenanigans it should arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Battery arrived on the 18th but I didn't have a chance to swap it until today.

A big to JSWolf for the ifixit link. The youtube video I found wasn't as good as the steps provided by the ifixit guide. The main instructions were good but the comments were absolutely necessary to take apart my Voyage without breaking anything inadvertently.
The shiny plastic wedge wasn't too hard to remove even with the glue strips. Absolutely follow the comments recommendations as opposed to the main instructions for that step.
What was a lot more difficult than I was expecting was the battery removal. Taking out this battery was the first time I actually had to stop and go get a fire can from the garage before I continued prying out the battery. I've swapped more cellphone batteries than e reader ones and my K3 battery didn't bend as much as this battery did. It was easier using guitar picks to pry up and "cut" the glue than using a credit card. I definitely would've used a heat gun on lowest temp or hair drier before I started prying if I knew beforehand. Anything to soften the glue a little will help.
Once you get the battery out its smooth sailing putting it back together. Care needs to be taken when plugging in the new battery as it's a push down connection and the cable is stiff so make sure you hear a click.
Total time was 30ish minutes and most of that was slowly and carefully getting the battery out. Cost was 30.01 for the battery and 10 for some extra pry tools. 40$ total and it's good as new (will be easier to open the next time if there is a reason to) and ready for more years of use.

I got my battery from a Ebay seller. Luckily they were based in my country and even my state so that's how I got the battery relatively quickly. Most of the sellers I found were based in China and shipped from there. Those would take much longer near a month.
Ifixit sells the battery too but it wasn't in stock when my Voyage started having problems.
