kindle paperwhite 2021 bricked

I stupidly reset my jailbroken kindle paperwhite signature 2021 edition as i wanted to upgrade to the latest firmware.

Unfortunately, my kindle is in spinning circle mode now (see attachment) and even my computer can't enter the kindle drive (shows up as a removable drive but can't go in).

Anyone has any idea what I can try at this point? Thanks a lot!

Nothing can be done to fix it ( other than removing the eMMC storage chip > directly write software to it > "reball" the eMMC back onto the motherboard).
If it's still under warranty ask Amazon to send a replacement.

Because it was literally mentioned in the Winterbreak mini-website early in January when encountering a problem in the jailbreak process and it is now removed. Also there were multiple versions of Winterbreak that simply bricked Kindle devices around the same time which didn't help the situation of OP above likely.

I also lost a PW11 Signature Edition in those bad Winterbreak packages after release.

Two last ideas:
- There should be a huge warning mentioning that one should never reset a jailbroken kindle if this is such a bad idea,
- or the jailbreak should not be affected by a reset.

Actually, it is still there, in https://kindlemodding.org/jailbreaking/WinterBreak/ :

"If an “Unexpected error” occurs when you try to log in to the Kindle Store or only the Kindle Store home page is displayed, try the following solution:

1 - Factory Reset Kindle"

At this point the Kindle have chances to likely be Jailbroken already by potential attempts of running Winterbreak.
