There are 12 short stories in the list and the first in the list is a short story. They were all freebies either at Tor or Kevin J Andersons website, so I can pass them onto you if you want. They don't really add much to the overall narrative, but for me it was just for completeness.

Maybe give this version a try... https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...3&postcount=60

Your kind offer for the 12 short stories is much appreciated. Please let me know what you need.

Thank you.

I subscribe to Criterion Channel and am currently watching Mulholland Drive again. I just realized that Lynch appears to subvert the notion of movement within the definition of moving pictures, and that the silence he creates often speaks volumes, leaving one with an interpretive stance of unease, of irreality. Note the silence lurking within the frames when actor Michael J. Anderson first appears on screen. (Also, that set seems very much like the one used on Twin Peaks. The use of full frame in the film is very unsettling, as if one is privy to things best left unseen. Yet, it conjures up a full range of emotions.)

Not sure but I suspect most of those stories would be copyrighted. I have about 7 or 8 Dune short stories that were free. While they were freebies, they were copyrighted.

Ok, do you suggest I edit my post and remove the zip file? Happy to do so.
I just thought as they were freebies, they were ok to distribute.
Thanks.

Thanks.

Just now came back to the thread and saw all this. Because of the question of copyright, I won't download them.

I do want to let you know, however, that I appreciate your gesture.

I've removed the link.
Obviously I have misunderstood free and promotional releases, not realising there still may be copyright on them. Though when I downloaded them off TOR and the authors website, there was no copyright notice attached.

No problems Dr. Drib

I would suggest doing so. Freebies are not necessarily not copyrighted and so permission must be obtained to redistribute.

Basically, unlike the Baen Free Library where they do explicitly allow giving copies of the books to others, re-distribution is not allowed for the Dune shorts I have.
