I finished January with 17 read and 12 bought, a reduction of five. A good start to the year. I also discarded 13 books that I'm now not going to read.

I wandered away from the site and didn't even realize it. I popped in yesterday to see if anyone had information about the ebooks now being offered at bookshop.org and I noticed my signature had my reading list from 2021!

My reading has dropped off quite a bit over the past few years -- every year I seem to read half as many books as the year before. I challenged myself to read a few minutes every day last April, and it worked out well, but I dropped it at the end of the month and I think I'm still reading that same book.

I'm going to sign up again this year and try to get back into the habit, although I'm a little sad that I will have a break in my tallies.

I've finished Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. It's quite good. There's going to be a movie.

Welcome back!

If you're desperate to fill in the missing years at Mobileread, you can still add a post listing your reading for those years (if you know it), or just giving a total, to the threads for those years: 2022, 2023, 2024

I'm doing well with my Storygraph challenge. I've got three months completed. I'm behind on number of pages read and I realized as I was updating my stats in the other thread that I'm back to the same number of books on my TBR list as when I started the year. I'm sure it will go down once I lose access to Metropolitan's Overdrive collection in May. I've been trying to get to books I won't have access to before it expires.
