TCL Nxtpaper 14 tablet available on sale

I've Samsung and Ipad at home, and they've both been shelved for a few years now. I just don't see a use for them. Screens aren't comfortable for reading, constant recharging is annoying, and laptop is far superior for browsing the web because of better controls.

On the other hand, I am enjoying the Nxtpaper 14 a lot. Perhaps because I do not own an iPad, but 700€ more are just too much for a good tablet, which can only have 1 user.

Not being an iFan when I looked up iPads they were like $300?

I paid $450 for my (non-fruit) laptop and it's good enough for me.

It has been a long time since I held an Android tablet in my hands, so I didn't realise how crappy this 16:9 format is. I'm not even talking about Android itself, but that may be because my last experience with an Android phone was ten years ago and I’m not used to it at all.

There are TCL tablets that are 16:9.

There are loads of city shops where you can see Android tablets, but not TCL Nxtpaper models, however I've bought most of my TCL phones/Tablets from Amazon Germany, and the web pages have the information on size and weight.

The main difference from any other Android models of same version:
No bloatware that can't be removed. Even many Google apps uninstall.
Some gimmick tools for reading modes, IMO not needed. I set to sRGB, adjust brightness and white balance.

Yes, there are some stupid things about Android. There are different stupid things about iOS.

You don't seem to be describing either the Nxtpaper 11 and certainly not the Nxtpaper 14, both of which I have.

I've had the big iPad here beside it (belonging to a relative) and visited the local shop with super shiny Apple stuff. There is no comparsion. The Nxtpaper 11 isn't an ideal shape (Between 16:9 and 16:10) compared to iPad, but the Nxtpaper 14 is a better shape, than iPad, for single page or two pages side by side (3:2 ratio).

There are also TCL Android tablets that are actually 16:9, but they are not Nxtpaper!

I dont see the need for arguing. If you prefer a 1000€ iPaid air (that cannot be setup for several users unless you are an educational or business administrador, greedy Apple forcing you to purchase one iPad per user) over a 350€ Nxtpaper, just buy it and enjoy it. I did not and find the Nxtpaper a good tablet, with the nuisances of android. Nothing is perfect, but this tablet is close enough for me.

I think you should explain why you think why a 3:2 ratio tablet (NxtPaper 14) is 16:9 ratio. (1.5 vs 1.777. A4 is 1.414).
