Hello Doitsu, would it possible to add a GUI or json configuration item so we can supply our own JRE path? I don't like Java being installed systemwide.

I've figured out what the problem was. With the 32-bit Java, the default stack size is too small for epubcheck 4.2.0. So a command needs to be added to increase the stack size. The 64-bit Java has no such problem.
This is for Windows if anyone doesn't know. |

@JSWolf Thanks for your investigation! I'll add the -Xss512k parameter when the next EPUBCheck version is released.

If you wait, there will be a lot of people who will not be able to use epubcheck with Calibre's editor. Please fix it now instead of later. |

IMHO, installing the latest 64bit Java version is the better option. Last edited by Doitsu; 05-06-2019 at 07:57 AM. |

Besides, there could be a lot of people with the issue, but as they aren't on M, have no idea how to contact you about it. |

When I added the '-Xss512k' parameter it worked again. |

No, it doesn't. When you click the plugin icon, the mouse pointer changes to busy mode, and then after a few seconds, get back to normal without doing anything or displaying any message. I didn't check the clipboard though. The StackOverflow message was probably there.
