How about your countries?
It does look like the New Kindle will be called Oasis, and probably water proof. The second device will be called Woody. It will have a solar cover. Not sure what else they will have, just need to wait till they are announced. Hopefully soon.

If that is a new Kindle it is multiple steps backwards in physical design. And so much for being ambidextrous. It is a slap in the face to any left handed person, just like camera designs are. Those photos certainly don't look cutting edge to me. That must be a lower priced unit rather than a top of the line model. And don't get me started on the stupid thick on right side and thin on the left side crappy design.

See here. Looks like it's reversible and the screen re-orients. Someone mentioned accelerometers so possible it auto re-orients.

Thanks to those who have posted pictures and translations. Not sure what to think of the design yet. There is nothing about screen size there, though I think that looks like 6" (or possibly 6.8"). Nothing about memory - though one of the pictures over the weekend looked like the disembodied hand was putting in a micro SD card, which would be good.

for anyone who missed it, the leak suggests this device is extremely thin compared to other eInk devices: there's a hump at the top of the device, but the thinner part under it (where you're supposed to grab it) is just 3.4 mm thick (Voyage is 7.6 mm, Kobo H2O is 9.7mm)
it's also much lighter than current eInk devices: 131g (WiFi-only Voyage is 180g, Kobo H2O is 233g)

of course this will come at the expense of battery life. looks like Amazon saw people are charging their smartphones every day and assumed they won't mind a 2 day battery life or whatever this has.

I hope they did not chop battery life for weight. I use my light at high settings and that already eats up battery life.
