Glo In-book stats for sideloaded epubs

Is this still an issue with current firmware? I haven't updated my glo firmware in about a year and a half (and disabled Wi-Fi so it wouldn't update anymore) because I finally found a firmware that worked oK with stats. I can't seem to find anything about in-book stats for sideloaded epubs since Jan 2015 here on the forum, and it seemed like Kobo was allowing them at the time. I am assuming that things are still good for lovers of sideloads. Can anybody fill me in on the current state of the stats? Thanks!

If the screenshot in this post is what you mean by in-book stats, then ePubs have never had them, they are only displayed in KePubs.

In the current firmware, and I think since version 3.13.1(?) those stats are shown for sideloaded KePubs too, but there were some older firmware versions where they only worked for KePubs synced from Kobo.

But beware that while the stats are shown, they may not work correctly if the book's TOC has missing entries. The books synced from Kobo will (or should) have any missing TOC entries filled in, but KePubs created by Calibre might not.
