Downloading Adobe Ebook pdf files crashes Adobe Digital Editions ....

Hi!

Have tried from two sources buying and downloading Adobe e-books and each time when I download them, Adobe Digital Editions start up and then it just crashes without finalizing the book. When I then reopen the ADE again the book title is there, but with no author name or any other info, and I can't open it or transfer it to my PRS-505. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know what could be wrong. I just downloaded and installed the new 1.5 version of ADR so it seems that likely is not the problem.

Grateful for any help on this!

...well I guess it was something wrong with my computer that caused this, had problems with my firewall/virus program also and when I got that fixed then the book download worked as it should also. Sorry !

Ongoing problem but only with my Nook, Pandigital Novel, and Cybook Opus don't crash ADE. Started doing it on my oldest system and now on the netbook. have to speed thru the process, once and a while it works.

Nook appears to send out little tweaks now and then, I'd have to guess one of the tweaks started the mess!!
