Libra Colour Line spacing for sideloaded books

I have a Kobo Libre Colour and the option to change line spacing doesn't do anything.

I installed the KoboTouchExtended plugin and the 'Send Books as Kepubs' option is checked in the Extended tab.

I select the book I want in Calibre and send specific format (epub) to main memory.

Is there something else I need to do for this to work? The books were originally downloaded from Amazon and have had the DRM removed.

At the moment I'm only working with one book to see if I can get it to work.

Try another book. If not happens there, the CSS is setting the linespace. I had to edit them.

How do you edit that? In the 'Look and Feel' section I put "line-height" in the Extra CSS area. Did I do that wrong? I had also tried another book and still nothing.

No, not that. Edit book, purple icon. Might need to add to toolbar if not visible.

When I had book with issue I had to remove line-spacing from the stylesheet.

You need to remove the code for line-height from the css. Or put line-height in the 'Other CSS properties' section of the conversion settings (not Extra CSS).

Thank you, Thank you! I was finally able to get it to work.

Now begins the long process of converting all my books to work properly on my Kobo.

line-height isn't needed in ebooks and white-space shouldn't be needed even on web pages. That's poor formattiing.

I do epub to epub conversions on all imported epubs

I had already done an epub to epub conversion but it didn't work. I think my problem is that most of my ebooks had already gone thru multiple format conversion procedures over the years. None of them were originally downloaded as epub. Some were even originally .lit and .prc.
