And then they slowly fade away...Robbins was an absurdist comedy writer who created a cult following with his writing. I found him to be an enjoyable writer.

Robbins died Feb. 9, 2025.

He was unique. I loved Even Cowgirls Get The Blues and Still Life With Woodpecker. Couldn't get into Another Roadside Attraction or Skinny Legs And All, though I'd try them again.

I was part of that cult following. I loved all of his books. I especially enjoyed his memoir Tibetan Peach Pie.
