Source code for Bookland and Browser apps

Do we have the source code for these anywhere?
Are they open source?
I would be interested in turning them into something more usable

The browser is based on webkit and thus open source. Bookland access is proprietary.

Any pointers to where the source code libraries that were used to build the PB302 app reside?

I will ask. It's still very much in dev, though, so I guess you will have to wait 'till the app's done.

Thanks. Alternatively can we ask for these two area to be addressed in the next firmware release: webkit Browser to 1) add bookmark capability, 2) add file save capability?

Also the bookland website should be made to be compatible with mini-browser - it's a bit daft to create a website that your own browser then can't render!

Lastly, the Bookland application needs to be investigated. It either has timing issues or is checking network connectivity state from somewhere completely different from the other applications that use the network connection. It would also help if some meaningful response messages were returned - "unable to connect to network" is of no use in fault determination when the network is actually connected (icon showing in tray bar and all other applications are able to use it).

1 and 2 are being adressed right now. Don't forget this is a beta and announced as such.

The Bookland site will be moving soon to a faster and more reliable host.

I know webkit is open source but I need the actual source of the pocketbook browser before I buy a real device for a project I'm working on, is it possible to ask your developers to push the browser code on sourceforge? ( http://pocketbook-free.sourceforge.net )
thanks
