Removing links from articles

This is less of a recipe question and more of a general article parsing question. I am trying to get rid of all the links in my articles since I'm not going to be able to read them on my Kindle browser anyway. I will sometimes accidentally click them while I am trying to turn a page and it is annoying. I don't really have advanced technical knowledge, so I was wondering if anybody has figured out how to do this. Thanks!

Thanks for this, seems to have worked! However, there's an unfortunate artifact from the link removal. It seems that after every link that has adjacent punctuation, there is a space inserted. See below.

It's a small detail but I already know it will drive me crazy. Any thoughts?

Additionally, for whatever reason, the links are still showing up on my Kindle even though they're not showing up in the Calibre reader. Not sure why that is.
