From 1500 BC to the 1940s, we follow the journey of the Sphinx Emerald: an emerald who many internal flaws create by chance or by magic (who knows?) an unmistakable image of the Sphinx. Eighteen independent but consecutive short stories. These stories were originally published in "Blue Book" magazine in 1946/7, but not collected into a single book for more than 50 years.
