what i remember most about my grandfather is that he would always whistle the first 2 phrases of "one enchanted evening". anytime i think of him i always hear that music in my mind.

hehe, i think you're right about that. in my defense, since it was only whistling, it took me decades to identify the song. (in fact, it could actually be another one, whose titel escapes me for the moment. i've never been completely sure.)

Thanks, but no, thanks. Frankly, I like the dark and the dark likes me (and by "the dark likes me" I mean "ARRRGGHHH! RATS! GIANT RATS WITH CRAB CLAWS FOR EYES AND SCORPION TAILS AND TEETH FOR FUR, SHOOTING RUSTY RAZOR BLADES DRIPPING WITH ACID FROM THEIR MOUTHES, SO MANY MOUTHS...").
Cheers, Marc (I'm all right, Jack. A million voices in my head can't be wrong) |

It tickles
...because there's just such a confluence of MR-related ideas: robots, gibbons (don't care what you say - that's a gibbon "driving"), death rays, iPods, claws, citywide destruction, the artist is an Aussie...
By the way. Here's the artist's website: http://www.stevescott.com.au/SteveScott_Illo01.htm Funky, no? Cheers, Marc |

THE FOLLOWING IS NOT FOR QUEEN ZEE CONSUMPTION: To everyone else, it's perfectly harmless.
This is my kind of dinnerware. Exoskeletal, but tasteful: http://www.ectomo.com/index.php/2008...ndel-ceramics/ (Note to Queen Zee: it's just black and white drawings of insects, arachnids, and even some birds, on cups and saucers and so-on) Cheers, Marc |

The butterflies are quite nice. Dried, with a sprinkle of sea salt.
