Glo How to customize the sort order?

The first word "The" is ignored in a book title.

So I got books that showing in the wrong order.

Is there a way to customized that sort order so that the word "The" is not ignored when sorting?

To correct slightly, the titles are in fact showing in the right order. Ignoring articles at the beginnings of titles is standard in book alphabetisation, and is correct behaviour.

I don't think you can customize sort order on the device, but you can use calibre to bypass automatic methods and get the items simply sorted by their displayed value.

I did this for authors, where the problems are more serious with non-trivial names.
