We will need more information.

It looks "disconfigurated" in what way? With what epub3 e-reader? Are you using an epub3 reader that meets the epub3 spec? How does your epub look in Thorium?

Many epub2 only e-readers will not understand css3. And many epub e-readers will ignore css if it detects anything it does not understand.

Have you validated your epub with epubcheck?

Have you validated your epub's css?

Are there screen shots that show what is wrong?

FYI, Sigil itself us a very forgiving PreviewWindow. Things that work on Sigil may not work on older or non-updated e-readers depending on how well they follow the epub3 spec.

A quick look at the epub you supplied and the first thing that comes to mind is that you need to split your text file. I only see the nav.xhtml navigation document and a 7MB estadistica.html text document.

Running epubcheck, it had multiple complaints. Your font files are in a Fonts directory below the OEBPS directory while one of your stylesheets does not show any directory information which references the fonts.

Your navigation document references Section0001.xhtml with a label of Inicio. Sadly, that document does not exist.

You have multiple unicode-bidi properties in your ePub stylesheets which are not permitted for an ePub3 stylesheet.

At a wild eyed guess, this epub is the result of a conversion from a pdf to an html using pdf2htmlEX and then dragging the html file into an existing blank ePub document without due care and attention to the differences between a web page and an ePub document.

And lastly, unless some proof that the original document and illustrations are in the public domain or has been released by the creators is produced, my belief is that this is a pirated textbook.

The key thing to note (assuming the epub is legal - if not the link must be removed so please address that immediately) is that Sigil is not a website-to-epub converter nor a pdf-to-epub converter program. It does not reformat things to create an epub3.

It just provides the tools to help end users create their own epubs, help validate them, help reformat them. The end user must understand what an epub is and how to create one although Sigil will try to help out making things simpler.

There are other programs that can convert formats more automatically for the end user. Calibre is one of them.

To be safe I removed the url until we know for sure one way or the other.

I did some digging and found Introducción a la estadística by Barbara Illowsky & Susan Dean on the OpenStax (Rice University) site. It is available under a Creative Commons Attribution License v4.0 as follows:

The copy posted lacked the required attributions and the first portion of the book which included the license text.

Since I was on the OpenStax website, I downloaded the pdf and converted it in calibre. It's a bleep of a lot better than dropping the single html file output by pdf2htmlEX into Sigil's default epub3 though still requiring cleanup.

So using calibre to convert directly from pdf is the obvious first step here for webpresario.

Thank you for your helpful comments.
