black blinking vertical line
My images in Sigil often show a vertical and blinking black line next to the image.

I do not see anything strange in the code.

How to fix this?

Yes ... cursor position is always shown in Book View. Because you can edit the document in Book View. The Preview Pane should show you how things look with no pesky cursor getting in the way, though.
