That was a direct cut and past from the link. They said e-books, but meant readers. I think Digitimes may be published in Taiwan - most likely a translation issue.

Yes, but how accurate can we assume the information is? The same source claims the iLiad batteries are good for a week at three hours of reading per day. That was part of the original marketing claim by iRex, but linuxdevices.com doesn't appear to be checking those claims very carefully. They are probably right on the main specs, but I'd be hesitant to assume they've got all the details.
That being said, yes, at least they seem to have more than "it's thin and light!" I still don't think the functionality is worth the price they're quoting, but it's nice to have a little more info. |

They also managed not to note that the Sony Reader is a Linux device.
But at this stage, I agree, more info is welcome, even if we have to mark it "unconfirmed." |
