I've got the February Locus, but haven't read it yet. Already I'm seeing a lot of disagreement in some of their choices. The Bowl of Heaven by Benford and Niven has some seriously negative reviews on Amazon.

Thanks, Ben. The Snow Child under First Novels has been on my list for a while. Nice reminder that I need to just go ahead and buy it.
And Hugh Howey made the list! He must be so pleased. |

Terry Bisson's Any Day Now looks interesting and I've been waiting for James S.A. Corey to finish the trilogy before I read those books. Caliban's War is the second novel.
They also have the 2011 list online. http://www.locusmag.com/Magazine/201...-reading-list/ Last edited by BenG; 02-03-2013 at 09:23 PM. |

I need to catch up on "The Girl Who.." series by Valente. I really enjoy her takes on fairytale and folklore.
