Question Who uses the lock feature?

I was wondering how many of you use the "lock" feature on your ereader? I also was wondering if it was stolen is there a way around the lock feature!?

What are your thoughts?

I have never used the lock feature.

I don't know the answer but is it possible to work around the lock by doing a hard reset?

I don't have a tendency to use any lock features either, though it makes that maybe I should.

I'm sure there most be some way around them, there always tends to be! I would interested to know aswell if anyone had any theories?

Bless your heart! I'm heartless. If anyone takes my PRS-505 or PRS-900, it will be a useless paperweight. Not only do I have the lock feature in place but it's in a patois of French follow by numbers!

The way around it is to do a hard reset. That will erase any data that's on the device.

Do you have any "sensitive" information on it that you wouldn't want anyone else to see? That's really the only use of the "lock" facility.

Have any kids (or children)? Would you like to return to the last page read?

Of course if I had any Harlequin books on it, not only would I lock it, I would spike it to the desk to prevent anyone from finding out!
