Bulk downloading of metadata
It appears that there is a 100 title limit for the processesing of new covers and metadata after download.
(ie: If you download 300 covers, Calibre asks 3 times if you are "ready to add the metadata for these 100 books?") Is there any way to increase that number? Thanks as always, |

Or maybe a way to auto-add the new data once downloaded without needing a dialog box at all?

I believe that in principle the answer to both questions is no.
The 100 items at a time limit is there to avoid calibre becoming black-listed by the servers due to creating excessive load. I suspect you could patch the source on your system to change this limit but it is unlikely to be accepted for inclusion into the standard release. The dialog is needed to protect against potential database corruption due to threading issues. |
