[GUI Plugin] KOReader Sync - Page 7

Over the last days I send some pull requests to the github repository.

I added two options to sync only if data being synced is newer than the ones already in calibre as well as the option to not sync if the book has been finished already (to not loose the finished state if re-read for example)
Both settings are available in the normal kobo utils plugin so I thought they might be useful here as well.

Maybe we can reach the auther somehow to sync all the changes together.

Harm has been trying to find someone to handoff the project to for some time. I'm not quite passionate enough about this project to take on this duty, maybe one of you is

I have one question: The percent read column (float) spits out wrong numbers: A book completely read is shown with 1(%), not 100(%); so the value should be multiplicated by 100, like i did with my change in 0.4.2.
Or am i wrong?
The int value has the multiplication by 100 included...

So in the end i am happy that the plugin is not dead! Thanks a lot!!!

No, you're not wrong. That's why the README says:

ok, i'm not an expert so my question might be trivial, but why sidecar folders (.sdr) with metadata .lua files are created in the caliber folder and not inside the original path of the book? This way creates a lot of mess in the folder ...

Hi there,
Thanks for your plugin. It is great for tracking my reading progress in Calibre.

However, I can't get the synchronization to work the other way around, i.e. on KOReader from Calibre.
I just want to retrieve the reading percentage from Calibre on books that I had deleted and then put back on my Kobo.

Of course I deleted .sdr folders for books I want to retreive reading percentage.

Could you please tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thank you.

Hello,

Would really like to use this plugin with my PB THD3. Already tried it out on Calibre. However, cannot choose anything to be synced in the configuration. And pushing the plugin button gives an error: "No metadata could be synced ... Failures may just be ...have not opened every book in Koreader yet".

I'm on the latest PB THD3 firmware, Calibre (win 10) and Koreader (for Pocketbook) versions.

Could someone help, please.

I have syncthing replicating my books directory across 2 Kobos via a designated separate "connect to folder" in Calibre.

I also have Calibre-Sync set up with custom columns which I think pulls progress, highlights and status from the syncthing folder.

KOReader is set to save metatdata in the books directory.

Do I still need KOReader-Sync, or will syncthing do everything?

Hello, this plugin is today the only way to use Calibre with KOReader (on Kobo) ?
I use the internal reader form Kobo and Calibre to update my "in_reading" or "read" books in Calibre.
But KOReader has some nice fonctions and I would like to use it to read my books but I also need to update my Calibre database with "read" status.
Or Calibre supports today natively KOReader ?
