Curious about TTS

Can anyone say what the text to speech is like on these machines. Is it comparable to that on the Kindle? Is the a link on the web of it playing (I couldn't find anything)? Just curious really.

I'll assume from the silence that the TTS doesn't work yet.
Is it likely to appear later?
