Project Gutenberg
I noticed the BOOX store is basically all Project Gutenberg books. Does anyone have a good reading recommendation from Project Gutenberg? Mystery or horror. something that's still relevant.

The Sherlock Holmes stories are all in the public domain now, but you're better off getting PD e-books from a place like Standard E-Books, since Project Gutenberg often has typos from uncorrected scans:

Perhaps you are thinking of the Internet Archive, which does no proofing. You can search Gutenberg by Genre. |
