PRS-600 ¿Any kind of notepad?

Hi everybody. My question is about takin notes on PRS-600: can I take notes in a "new file", or just can take notes in a book that I'm reading?
Thanks

You can take notes in the book you are reading. While you reading if you hit the Options button a menu will pop up. It will have a Create/Edit Notes, where you can highlight and circle. If you already have a bookmark (double tap the upper right hand corner) in place, tap it once and a menu will come up with 2 options, By Drawing or By Keyboard. Everything you put in the book you will be able to look up in your All Notes section.

Or you have a Text Memo section, where a keyboard pops up and you can write whatever you want in there.

Hope that helps!

That's what I was looking for! How long memo section notes can be? Is there some kind of restriction or just the memory in the SD card?
Thanks!

To be honest, I have no idea. I have never tested the limits of it, but I do use it quite frequently. I had to play around with mine for a little bit in order to figure it out. I say grab it; if you don't like it or you find it lacking you can always return it. I have to say that I love mine, you couldn't pry it from my lifeless fingers, lol!

That very much depends where you live. In the UK, you do not have a statutory right to return a product merely because you don't like it, and, for example, neither Sony nor Waterstones (the biggest UK resellers of the Sony) will allow you to do so.

There is also a handwriting/drawing function that is functionally limited to one "sheet". Handy for a quick grocery list. I also used it the other day to write down measurements for windows to go shopping for blinds.

Very much true! My apologies. I've only bought from Borders and Best Buy and they both have return policies. Stupid Americans

I've a hundred notes on mine and it hasn't dented the memory at all. I think you can write an entire book before you run out.
