I have followed the above instructions without success.
There are no instructions in the template.xhtml file.
What do I change {series.roman} to in order to have Arabic characters in the book jacket?
I am assuming that is the line that needs to be changed.
Any help will be appreciated.

@PapaJohn - see line 14-16 of template.xhtml

Did you copy ..\Calibre2\resources\jacket to <config>\calibre\resources\jacket and remove the read only attributes on the file.

to
Code:
<td  class="cbj_series" colspan="2">{series}</td>
That will get you Arabic numbers.

Also there is a bug fix for this template in the next update so you will have to check it then.

ps. I am using Calibre 2.37.1 on Mac OS 10.10.5.
