Author sort field with several authors

I am not quit sure how the Authoes field works for multiple authors.

I have book with 2 authors like Frank Sealine, Marry Godfred.
According example I need to type in Sealine, Frank if only one author exist but what about 2 authors?

For .mobi format, it is recommended to use last name, first name;last name, first name. Don't know if it is the same for ePub.

same as 1, separate with an & :

Frank Sealine&Marry Godfred In the Authors field. Then if using Edit Metadata, use the copy down button to the right. This follows your sort rules. (If you enter in the Main bookshelf, this happen automagically)

That might be if you were direct editing the Metadata INSIDE the book.
That is not the Calibre Metadata way

I changed it to following format

Author name field:
first name last name & first name last name

Author sort field:
last name first name & last name first name

Now the Author sort field is green so should be fine.

Still wondering why Calibre creates a folder under "Calibre library" using only the first author name?
Is that correct?
