Showing Results from a "search"

apologizing in advance for a case of the dumshits. i cant find the answer to this.......

when i search for a specific book all the results are highlighted green and scattered through out my library. is there any way to get just the results only without having to scroll all over?? thanks in advance. sorry if this was answered

Go to Preferences - Searching and uncheck the Highlight search results line and check the Show a quick toggle button (see attached).

The first will cause you to just see the searched items. The second will put a new button three icons to the right of the search bar that will allow you to toggle between Highlight (what you see now) and just show search results. The button is just in case some future update or plugin accidentally switches this setting.

A while back, this option was hidden by default since it confused people. (Not sure whether this confuses people more.

)

You are not the only one who got confused by this.
